1. Organising Authority
The Organising Authority shall be WRSC.
2. Rules
The races will be governed by the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of the RYA, the rules of each competing class, the sailing instructions and the local instructions.
3. Classes
Racing will be open to Finn, Phantom and Solution classes.
4. Entries
Entries will be accepted at registration. Entry fees - £10.00 including lunch & refreshments.
5. Registration
Registration is from 9.00am, briefing scheduled for 10.00am.
6. Races
The first race is scheduled to start at 11.00am. Three races with one discard after third race. One race would constitute a series.
7. Certificates
All competing boats should hold a valid measurement certificate, which may be required to be shown at registration, the owner should be a member of the appropriate class association.
8. Sailing Instructions
Sailing Instructions and any Local Instructions will be available at registration, plus amendments thereafter as prescribed in the Sailing Instructions.
9. Safety
9.1 A boat is entirely responsibly for her own safety, whether afloat or ashore, and nothing, whether in the Notice of Race or Sailing Instructions or elsewhere reduces this responsibility.
9.2 It is for the boat to decide whether she is fit to sail in the conditions in which she will find herself. By launching, the boat confirms that she is fit for those conditions and her crew is competent to sail and compete in them.
9.3 Nothing done by the organisers can reduce the responsibility of the boat nor will it make the organisers responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, however it may have occurred, as a result of the boat taking part in the racing. The organisers encompass everyone helping to run the race and the event, and include the organising authority, the race committee, the race officer, patrol boats and launching assistants.
9.4 The provision of patrol boats does not relieve the boat of her responsibilities.
9.5 Each boat is required to hold adequate insurance and in particular to hold insurance against third party claims in the sum of at least £2,000,000.
