Burghfield Reminder

The Finn open meeting at Burghfield Sailing Club will be held on Saturday 2nd October 2010.   The club has very kindly put up trophies for the first five places as well as a trophy for the first Classic Finn. 

For those who haven't sailed at Burghfield before, it is set on a large stretch of water (over 200 acres of sailable water) and is very centrally located close to junction 12 of the M4 just west of Reading. The nearest village is Theale. There is a large clubhouse, professional catering, a large car park and plenty of room to launch from the beach (stony!).

Last year we were just short of enough boats for a Medal Race! This year it would be great if we could reach double digits. You will also be welcome to leave your boat overnight and enter the RNLI/Sailability Cock of Burghfield Open Event on the following day. This event will comprise of three pursuit races, two to count.
