Welcome to the Coaching and Training section on the British Finn Association website.
Training in 2010 is available to all BFA members and will be provided at many of the main events during 2010. The opportunity is there it is up to you, the sailors to take it.
If you want some coaching at your club let me know and I will see what can be done.

Training Events 2010
At each of the following events a coach will provide on-the -water support and post race debrief for all BFA sailors who attend the event. These events have been organised to give BFA members the best possible support at a number of key events.
July 21/22 - Pwllhelli Sailing Club- Pre-nationals training event - a great chance to get some help in setting your boat up to suit the conditions in Cardigan Bay ahead of the National Championships.
The Nationals are nearly upon us
I promised to organise some training on the day before the Nationals in Pwllheli. This has been done and a training session starting about 12:00 has been organised by David Potter.
Dave will lead an on the water session and will, along with everyone else, be available to give Finn sailing advice and guidance to anyone who asks.
The forecast is for sunshine with 10 – 15 knots from the South West.
Pwllheli is a great place to sail – and for anyone over 40 yrs by 2012 is the venue for the 2012 World Finn Masters – open sea rolling waves, sunshine and a sandy beach – what more can you ask for.
